Description
Scale made its appearance in ancient times. When there was no money and societies exchanged goods. But also in modern times every itinerant (greengrocer, fisherman etc.) used one in order to weigh his products.
This scale is from the 50s. It’s made of brass and has an iron disk. The counterweight has engraved the so-called molyvosfrargida. The seller earned it after the provided check from the Ministry of Commerce for accurate weighing (check of weights and measures).
